TIME — Taking Yourself Back

A Skinvig Blog Feature

Time has been with me since the beginning — not the day I was born, but the moment I existed. From conception forward, Time was already doing its job. Quiet. Precise. Consistent. It shaped every stage of me, every shift, every version. It never rushed. It never stalled. It simply moved.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped respecting it.

Like most people, I learned to rush. I moved from one role to the next, one demand to the next, barely recovering from the last thing before I was already knee‑deep in the next. And while I was scrambling, Time kept doing what Time does — ticking forward without delay. Even on the days it felt slow, it always made up for itself later. Time always gets its respect, one way or another.

Eventually, I had to face something I had been avoiding:
I had been treating Time badly.

I skirted around it. I tried to outrun it. I pretended I could bend it. But the truth is simple — the amount of Time I’ve been given is full of story, grit, and experience. Without even noticing, Time became the star of the show.

And that realization changed everything.

When I began developing my body wash and beauty bars, I knew exactly what to name them: Time.

Not as a metaphor. Not as a gimmick. But as a reminder — a quiet nudge to take your time back. To stop rushing through the moments that are supposed to restore you. To stop treating your personal care like something you do “real quick.”

We say it all day:
“Let me take a quick nap.”
“Let me grab a quick bite.”
“Let me take a quick shower.”
“Let me run to the store real quick.”

Quick has become our default.
Quick has become our culture.
Quick has become our disrespect for Time.

Time by Skinvig is designed to interrupt that pattern.

It’s built to slow you down.
To make your personal care count.
To give you a moment that isn’t rushed, skipped, or squeezed in.

Time is precious.
Honor it.
